2002 Spring 300 km

The 2002 Spring 300 km went around Hood Canal and back up through the Tahuya Hills following the same route of 2001. A good strong south wind started the day and then the rain started around 1:00PM and preceded to increase for the next 12 hours --most everyone was thoroughly drenched. 44 riders started at 7:00AM under cloudy skies and rain but the sun did come out for a bit. Even the most durable, weather-tight gear was tested and failed, but we did have fun! Thanks to Bill Dussler for putting on another memorable 300 km this year!
